Sorry for being a day late again. I spent some quality time with hubby yesterday evening and wasn’t able to watch this week’s episode on time. >queue schmoochy face<
Prepare for spoilers in 3… 2… 1…
We continue on with the annual meeting from last week, with Kim Da-Hyun (Jeon So-Min) once again weathering an onslaught from Lee Jae-In’s (Ha Seok-Jin) ex-fiancee Han Joo-Hee (Seo Eun-Chae). Da-Hyun decides to make her first public with Jae-In soon after but is also harassed by Aunt Whats-her-name. Unfortunately, the continual harassment is taking its toll on Da-Hyun. After Joo-Hee is told to back off by Attorney Park Hyung-Joon ( Kim Sun-Hyuk) the following day, she decides on another ploy to “get her man”. After having Da-Hyun kidnapped, she attempts to set up an alliance with Min Tae-Ha (Kim Hyung Min) but this seemingly backfires when he snitches to Jae-In. Jae-In seemingly agree to an alliance of sorts in order to rectify the trouble within the SH Group.
This episode feels like it did a lot to set up the conclusion of the second major conflict of the series, the competition between Jae-In and Tae-Ha. We did have Da-Hyun questioning her place in Jae-In’s life, however, the regular barrage of mean-girls Joo-Hee and Aunt Whats-her-name putting her ability to walk beside Jae-In into question. This is certainly believable from the psychological standpoint. After all, you aren’t necessarily meant to continually deal with people harassing you all of the time. In any case, I feel good about where the series is headed and look forward to seeing some horrible people eat their own poop.
