BertyCox (Facebook, Jamendo) is an electronic pop outfit hailing from Ajaccio, France. There is a little mystery as to who the members are, but what is certain is that they produce some funky electronic sounds at-times reminiscent of Daft Punk. BertyCox may be a mystery, but they let their music do the talking.

This is certainly true of the Jamendo release The Signal, a 5-track consisting of a few remixes and some new material. I was quite surprised when I streamed the first few tracks, though I was convinced halfway through the first that I was going to download it. I wasn’t disappointed with the remaining tunes either, the 4th being a groovy mix of the title track. All in all, this album is a great addition to any electronic music collection.
