Music Video: Young Bride by Midlake

I’ve been a fan of American indie-rock band Midlake ever since I heard Children of the Grounds via the Triple J New Music podcast. Most of their albums I’ve listened to pay tribute to folk rock music of the late-60’s and early-70’s, with strong lyrics and instrumentation. However, the thing that I like most about their music is their attention to storytelling. The following song is a clip from their 2006 release The Trials of Van Occupanther, which is most definitely my favorite album from the ones I’d had the pleasure of listening to.
