I have another track by Capsule today. This time, it is quite a bit different from the song Jumper that I posted a couple days ago, moving from the heavy electronic influences to something a lot more retro. In fact, Capsule has gone for the jugular by moving towards a 60’s pop vibe, which works well. These guys even have a 60’s style film clip to boot, which continues to make me giggle long after it is played. There is something about that era that gives the feeling of a brave new world full of opportunities. (No, I am not going to mention the numerous people that were undoubtedly infected with STD’s as a result of the Free Love movement, because that is a bit of a downer.) The song was released as a standalone single in 2002 of the same name, a three-track release featuring a karaoke version of Plastic Girl.
