I have been a fan of the rather bizarre French music group Daft Punk for just on a decade. When I asked myself why I enjoyed their music so much, it occurred to me that it was due to their willingness to go their own way creatively, not being directed by a market filled with pop, hip-hop and dance tracks. There is something to be said for this, as there is a genuineness, and at times a child-like appeal to it that allows each track to stand on its own.  The following tune, Robot Rock, is from their robot-themed 2005 release, Human After All. Even if you don’t like the song, I am sure that you can at least appreciate the groovy outfits and retro look of the clip itself. 😀
